In the LA HORA DEL BLUES review, it is written: "James "J.B.Blues" Broussard is a very relaxed singer with a very reliable voice and self assurance attitude. The blues he performs is rooted in the old tradition of Louisiana and Texas blues singers and the musicians who back him are very professional and have an excellent musical quality and good technique. A well produced album full of delicious musical moments, joyful, danceable but over all, with an amusing variety of musical sides. I can tell you "Blues Alley" will certainly satisfy you every time you listen to it. VERY GOOD."
